Personal use only
Every portrait you purchase from Pemberton Portraits is licensed for personal, non-commercial use only. We do not currently sell a commercial license as a standard product.
What personal use includes
- Private display in your home or personal spaces
- Personal social media sharing (non-commercial)
- Gifts to friends and family
- Personal phone wallpaper or screensaver
What is not allowed
Without a written commercial license from Pemberton Portraits, you may not use your portrait for any commercial purpose. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Selling or redistributing the portrait as standalone artwork
- Using the portrait in marketing, advertising, or business materials
- Printing the portrait on merchandise for sale (t-shirts, mugs, prints, etc.)
- Using the portrait on product packaging, labels, or book covers
- Including the portrait in client work or commissioned projects
- Selling the portrait as an NFT or other digital collectible
- Using the portrait as training data for generative models
- Claiming the portrait as your own original artistic creation

If you genuinely need to use your portrait commercially, we're happy to discuss a custom arrangement. Email us at bella@pembertonportraits.com with:
- Your order number
- A description of how you'd like to use the portrait
- The scale of the use (one-off vs. ongoing, estimated reach, etc.)
We'll review your request and respond with terms and pricing if we can support the use case.
